London Life...
Hey Everyone...
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and aren't too sad it's Monday already!
I am unusually happy today, as although it is Monday, I have a half day as the fiance and I are off to meet our registrar to discuss the wedding ceremony! I am so excited! And for those of you who asked, the big day will be the 26th May!
So to match my happy mood, I wanted to share some pictures I have taken over the last few weeks. As some of you may know, as part of my job, I work two days a week in central London, right next to Buckingham Palace.
On Thursday it was just such a beautiful day, my workmate and I just had to have lunch in St. James' Park...
The little lake was so peaceful and tranquil! I even got to see the changing of the guard for the first time ever, and spotted an egg for my hunt!
After work I decided to walk to a different station to take in the sights. Despite the throngs of tourists, it was worth it...
A few weeks ago, I decided to take the bus home rather than the tube, so that I could also explore London a little more...

I love living in London, and I love working in London even more. I hear a lot of people complain about this city, and yes I do get
It's so full of amazing things to do and see, and last week there was one extra special thing to see. The fiance had a gig at The Old Queen's Head in Islington, near Angel station and it was a fantastic night...
Although I love the country and dream of a beautiful old farmhouse by the sea, I'm not sure I cope without the hustle, bustle and excitement of the city.
Love Jewel xXx
P.S. I am almost at 100 followers and my first blogaversary! So I will be having a very special giveaway soon!
We had a work sports game the other week and i loved sitting in the cab driving through London! I dream about the house in the country but don't think I could be too far from the hustle and bustle either!

Oh, Jewel, your fiance is a musician! How fabulous!! My husband is a musician! I have been married to him for 25 years and I just keep enjoying the music he plays. Some days he awakes and sings me songs. It makes for a lot of good laughter and good times. We are an older couple, but I have not tired of going to the gigs with him. I wish you many, many happy years together!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your walk through London with us. I would love to see London and maybe even sit by that lake...
Hugs,
Brenda
