Hen Do...

Hey Everyone...

I have so much blogging to catch up and so I have scheduled these posts over the next few days leading up until the wedding and whilst we are away on honeymoon! I hope you don't mind!

I know lots of you commented that you couldn't wait to hear about the hen do - so only three weeks late - here you go!

Unfortunately, there was a last minute change of plan, and my maid of honour decided she no longer wanted to be involved in the wedding. Luckily, my friends and bridesmaids were amazingly supportive and stepped into her role, reorganising the hen do and making it a very special day!

It started with an impromptu sleep over, with two of my uni friends coming to stay on the Friday night! We went old school, and ate Ben & Jerry's whilst watching a movie and catching up!

Then on Saturday it started in earnest! We all met at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane for a spa morning! It was so lovely and relaxing, sauna, steam room, a massage and a facial all accompanied by a glass of bubbly!

Some of the girls after the spa!

Next it was onto the Corus Hotel Hyde Park - for a delicious afternoon tea! When it came out I was worried there wasn't enough - but no one managed to finish it all!

Delicious!

All the girls enjoying tea!

Then it time for a night on the town - with a Moulin Rouge theme - be warned these pictures are scary!

We had a three course dinner, accompanied by a game of Mr & Mrs (I got 5 right and 4 wrong!) and then a list of dares...

All of which I completed with some help from my hens!

It was a fantastic night, I only wish I could do it all over again!

The next day, we finished off the weekend with a very sophisticated brunch at a lovely place in Clerkenwell called The Modern Pantry...

It really meant so much to me that all my friends made such an effort to come! The most important thing was seeing them all - and I can't wait to see them all at the wedding in just 3 days time! Eeee!

Love Jewel xXx

  4. And you worried that your hen do would fail! Friends will always get you through hun, and they'll never let you down - unfortunately your MOH is the exception to that! It puts a smile on my face that you had a great time - and Saturday will be perfect for you and Andrew :)

    Lots of love
