R&R...

Hey Everyone...

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend! Mine is extra long! I took an impromptu day off yesterday, as I had one day of annual leave to use, and I am so glad I did. The upsetting news about my PHD rejections had left me feeling blue so I decided to use the day for some R&R...

Nice LUSH bath with a 'rose jam' bubbleroon bubble bar. It smelt gorgeous...

Then I spent the day crafting, using up all the free gift projects from my Mollie Makes magazines...

I made this for my mum for tomorrow...

What do you think?

And I made this, which I would very much like to keep, but it is a little small for my iPhone...

I love the linen in this - I might have to make some more.

Then I made this...

I added some petals and a little mother of pearl star button.

And lastly this...

Which came out much smaller than I expected, but is very very cute!

Today I have been busy spending far too much money I don't have on far too many crafts, but I had a fantastic time. I've been to the stitch & craft show! I will tell you all about it soon!

Love Jewel xXx

  3. what better way to comfort ourselves with a nice long bath with a rose jam bubbleroon bubble jar, it always works on me whenever i feel down to have a long soak in the bath tub with nice smelling bubble bath and a few litted scented candles, listening to the radio and a cup of tea. I do love everything you made, you're always so creative and super crafty! which reminds me i also havent done anything with the free gifts from mollie makes, they've been sitting there waiting for me to use them :) the little purse and the babushka doll are so pretty! glad you had a fantastic time at the stitch and craft show, look forward for your next blog post! xx susan
