Perfect Primrose...

Hey everyone...

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Ours was really lovely, even if it did disappear in a flash!

Saturday was a busy day! I made a last minute appointment to see our venue florist, so we went to meet them! The florist was Spanish?  Italian? Maybe!? And his use of tenses was very confusing! We think he knows what we want - fingers crossed!

Then we popped in to visit my mum, who is trying to organise a car for us for the wedding so that we can be driven to the great park near the hotel for photographs - sounds like we might be getting a vintage American Ford Convertible!

And then we stopped off on the way home to order the suits for our best man and ushers! All in all a very productive day towards the wedding!

All that hard work called for a day off on Sunday. Back when I was at university, the fiance and I had limited time together, so every now and then we would plan a 'Treat Day' for each other. We haven't had one in a long time, but the fiance decided Sunday was mine!

It was a lovely day! After a nice lie in, the fiance brought me breakfast in bed...

Perfect Sunday Morning!

Then after a long relaxing, hard earned bath, we drove down to Primrose Hill to the wonderful Primrose Bakery! The fiance treated me to any cupcakes I wanted...

A mini chocolate bomb & a rose cupcake!
...Before we headed up to the Hill for a walk... on the way we happened upon a Salvation Army band who were playing beautifully...

We walked to the top of the hill - passing Narnia on the way...

... And the beautiful view was waiting!

The whole of London in all it's glory!

And us enjoying the sights!

After that it was back home to relax, before the fiance took me out for a lovely Indian meal, and the day was wrapped up with some good TV and some expensive champagne to finally toast my new job!

Such a perfect day - if only they could all be the same!

Happy Blue Monday everyone!

Love Jewel x

  1. Sounds like a fab weekend! Hubby,T and I did the big shop at Sainsburys on Sat then had lunch at my Mams on Sunday. I love family weekends but they do go in a flash. I`d love to visit The Primrose Bakery but its a long way from where I live!
