Swapsies...

Hey Everyone...

Thank you for all the lovely comments recently - I'm sorry I haven't been replying to many, things have been unbelievably hectic and I have barely stopped. Also my laptop is awful and dies every five minutes so I have to sneak on the fiance's mac when he isn't looking (like now!)

Today I have had an awful day but I have so many nice things to show you and tell you about I don't want to bore you with the horrible stuff. So instead let me show you a highlight of my week! The Faith, Hope & Charity Swapping Swap organised by the lovely Lakota. I was partnered up with Scarlett from Scarlett Loves Elvis! She is such a lovely partner to have and I hope we continue to keep in touch.

First let me show you what I sent her...

Homemade apple and oatmeal cookies - this was naughty of me as we agreed to not send anything edible. But I love baking sooo much I wanted to share something with Scarlett and these are healthier as they contain fruit (apple), fibre (oatmeal), and a better form of sugar (brown) - or at least that's what I said to convince myself!

I also sent her a little floral plate, a purple floral necklace, purple gemstone earrings, a handmade scrabble ring (with an 'S' for Scarlett) and a Stratton compact as I know she collects them and I was so happy when I stumbled across it!

And here is what I received in return...

Lovely sparkly and pink wrapping - just what I love!

Beautiful pearl drop earrings

Handmade lavender cushions with Cath Kidston fabric

A Royal Albert Old Country Roses Dish

She saw I was lusting after this china - I almost cried when I opened it, it was so thoughtful!

Pretty little butterfly notebook

Fantastically useful clipboard - for my wedding planning!

Lovely Cath Kidston keyring and pin badge!

Boy does Scarlett know me well! I love Cath Kidston and I don't have either of these lovely bits, plus the cushions are so pretty and perfect to help my stale, mould smelling drawers in the bedroom! I love my royal albert dish sooo much, I will cherish it forever, and it's already been put to use - which I will show you another day.

Now I'm off to try and relax after my bad day. Hope you've all had a better week and hopefully soon I will have more time to properly reply to all your comments!

Lastly I just wanted to show you a belated picture from the fashion show the week before last - me and the fiance...

P.S. I still need 2 more followers to hit 50 so that you can all enter my giveaway - please spread the word!
