You Wanna Be A Loser Like Me (Glee)....

Hey everyone...

How was your weekend? Mine was BUSY! I feel shattered, and like the weekend was never really here! Next weekend will be pretty busy too, but I'm taking Saturday to work on some of my WIPs from the car boot!

Today I wanted to tell you about my fantastic night out on Wednesday to see...... GLEE!
I love the O2, it is a fantastic venue. We went for dinner first and the fiance treated me! He also bought me a programme! This was a belated birthday present from his Dad, and it was such a lovely gift.

Enjoying dinner at Frankie & Benny's before the show!

We were very high up!

'I was born this way!'

Look who appeared for a cameo!

Getting Slushied! 'A Loser Like Me'

It was a great show! Although they opened with 'Don't Stop Believin' which I thought they should leave til last! They were amazing live and the little surprises were a great touch! I would love to see them again! I was up dancing and singing along like a mad woman! Luckily everyone else was too! I treated myself to a Glee T-Shirt and felt like a teenager again! It was a much needed fun release from all the stress of adult life. If only it could have lasted *sigh*...

Back to today, and I have finally posted my Faith, Hope & Charity Swapping Swap to Scarlett. I hope she likes it! Can't wait to find out! And tomorrow is a very exciting evening. The fiance has his first proper showcase gig in St.Albans at The Horn. He's headlining above two other bands, and is very excited. If it goes well he could get bumped up to Friday or Saturday nights where he could earn some money and hopefully some good contacts. I'm so excited but also nervous for him. He's had a stomach bug and then a cold and he's not really over it.... please wish him well for tomorrow and if you live locally please come to see him!

And finally tonight I have had a very productive evening - I have only been home 45 minutes and have tidied the flat, put my electronics on charge, unblocked the bath plughole, bleached my mugs, handwashed a dress, done all the washing up and put on a white wash!

P.S. Please take a look at my last post about freecycle items - I need lots of ideas! (Thank you top Jen T for yours they are a fantastic start and I will definately try some of them!) x

  2. I am a real Gleek too! I wish the boyfriend would take me to see the Glee show. He'd rather chop one of his legs off and eat it than have to sit through one Glee song. I don't know why?? ;-)

  3. I have a love/hate thing with Glee, but imagine it was good fun - and I do love 'Don't stop Believin'! Can I have some of your energy for my housework please?!
