Bathroom Art...

Hey Everyone...

Well I'm off sick again! Didn't feel well enough to go to my CBT course today! Luckily they post the notes on the internet so I'm being a good girl and reading through them, while wrapped up on the sofa.

The last two days at work have been awful, I wasn't really well enough, but powered through. I'm hoping today's day of rest will finally beat it!

So today I thought I'd share some bathroom art that finally was hung last night by the fiance!

Firstly is this frame full of business cards - mostly from tea rooms or cake makers - but a couple from other sources too! I was collecting the cake maker ones for ideas/contacts for the wedding, but when we decided on our cake maker I thought it was a shame to throw them away, so I came up with this idea.

It needs mounting on proper card at some point, and I might change the bottom right card as it's just from a craft fair and doesn't mean much to me, but we'll see...

Sorry about the awful cameraphone photo - camera is still out of action!

And then there is this collection of frames - it started off with just the darker two, which contain a postcard of a painting of montmatre in Paris which is a place I love, and a postcard from the infamous serendipity 2 restaurant/cafe in New York that the fiance sent to me when he visited there right at the beginning of our relationship (not knowing I loved the film of the same name!)

Then recently I added the two frames with Disneyland Paris postcards from our trip this February for my birthday! It holds such precious memories for me from my childhood and I love looking at the Sleeping Beauty Castle and dreaming away.

Lastly we've added the sketch the fiance made of our little family!

I love it! I am hoping to add lots more pictures to this wall to make an eclectic collage type wall (that I always see in IKEA catalogues and can never quite copy). We'll see what happens over the months!
